Tea time with roasted seed mix


It’s tea time and I am bored of having cakes, cookies as combo with it. So thought of having something healthy and light ! Roasted Seed mix ! It’s a mixture of Pumpkin seeds, Sunflower seeds, Flax Seeds, Muskmelon and some edible salt.

Green pumpkin seeds are rich in anti oxidants, iron, zinc, magnesium and many other nutrients. They are edible seeds typically roasted for consumption.

Sunflower seeds may be tiny but they give a nutritious punch. They are great source of many vitamins and nutrients. They are infamous as immune boosters.

Flax seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acid. You can use it as dietary supplement to prevent constipation, diabetes, cancer, heart disease and several other conditions.

You should not worry about eating reasonable amounts of these Seeds mixture but you shouldn’t eat a bagful in a day.

Nowadays a lot of people are shifting from animal diet to plant based diet. It has become very easy to find vegan meals. In the past years, to get a vegan meal in Europe and America was a punishing task. Most of the times while travelling we, vegans used to live on Mc D’s fries and Pizza Hut Salads. But with time Veganuary is in every part of the world. Being a vegetarian, people think we cannot get a healthy amount of protein in our diet. But I think we as vegetarians get our Protein from direct sources like nuts, seeds, fruits , vegetables, grains, beans , etc. These are the super sources of protein.


Protein in an essential part of our diet. The key to get the right amount of Protein diet is a combination of these plant based sources. We should combine different grains with vegetables. Variety is the key when it comes to VEGAN!

Raw potato juice

I know it may sound sickening! But believe me raw potato juice is very nutrious for internal and external body. It’s very safe and simple. With no side effects. Take a raw potato, peel it, grate it and strain it in a glass.


Raw potato juice helps us in the following ways:

  1. Acidity – For extreme stomach disorder and bloating. Take one glass of potato juice in the morning and at night as well for a few weeks to see the difference.

2. Hair growth – apply this juice on your scalp for hair growth. keep it for 30min-60min         and then wash.

3. Skin Care – apply raw potato juice with cotton to cure under eye puffiness and dark circles, acne scars on face, eczema.

Raw potato juice is an excellent source for the body and skin.
