Wish you all a very Happy Teej, a contribution to Mother Earth!
Teej is a Hindu festival that is celebrated by married and unmarried girls in India. On this day Lord SHIVA and Goddess PARVATI reunite.
Hindu women enjoy this festival by taking swings in monsoon. As it monsoon season . Every married and unmarried woman applies henna, fills up her arms with colourful bangles, dresses up in Greens (to thank MOTHER EARTH). They hang out with their bunch of family girls and friends share Indian sweet delicacies.
I remember my first Teej, 20 years back, when I got married, my mother sent me a beautiful green saree( Indian outfit), matching bangles and a basket full of matching make up and last but not the least amazing jewellery made of flowers (which I was supposed to wear).

These are my most mesmerising memories. I wish to do the same for my daughters now !
Stay safe and healthy!
